My Quest: To Live in the Mystery and Create New Possibilities for Health and Wholeness

Personal Background

I answered the call of the Seeker very early, exploring the deep realms of human consciousness and potential.

My journey to the healing world began when I attended a Yuen Method course in 2001. I was touched by the Magician archetype, and became a certified practitioner and teacher. I also promoted Dr. Yuen in the Bay Area. Overnight I had a private practice, helping people eliminate their pain.

My interest in quantum physics deepened, and curiosity led me to a Matrix Energetics Course. Here I had a profound experience of coming home to the little child inside -- laughing, feeling joyful, and being outrageous. What concepts! I promoted Dr. Richard Bartlett and Matrix Energetics in the S.F. Bay Area, and I became a certified master practitioner/facilitator.

I now am focused upon New Energetic Healing, integrating my journey, my training, and my intuitive nature. It is from this perspective, returning home to my creative self, that I reflect upon my history:

My parents each had a profound influence upon my life choices:

My father was a natural storyteller who took me on mythic journeys. He did business on a handshake, and his credo, "You are as good as your word," informed his personal life as well as professional. He was passionately devoted to his family.

My mother embodied the Caregiver, Sage, and Magician archetypes. She nurtured with compassion and generosity, and her vision of life and the universe was a beacon for me. Guided by her adventurous mind and spirit, we read forbidden books and explored the realms of angels, goddesses and wizards. My mother became a willing sacrifice in an oppressive culture, a "Witch among the Puritans." Her courage guides me still as I continue on my path dancing to my own drummer.

In my early twenties, I inhabited the Caregiver archetype, married, and raised my daughter and son. Later I encountered the Seeker once again and was led to lay training in Zen Buddhism, Alpha Awareness training, Native American rituals, and various meditation practices. I studied to become a Religious Science minister, and at the same time was drawn into the arena of personal transformation which enlivened my spirit.

I worked with both the celebrated and the mildly notorious. I was a writer for Werner Erhard, teacher and coach, and I shared his vision of "a world that works for everyone with no one and nothing left out." I worked with the Hunger Project and presented briefings to shift people's consciousness about ending hunger on the planet. The planetary vision of the Hunger Project spoke to my heart. My journey continued with other encounters and connections, and I returned to school.

…I believe that the world is filled with numinous uncharted seas, and suffering is neither inevitable nor the natural order of things.

I have soul mates and a yearning to play. My reverence for learning deepens, and my healing work provides a framework to express myself and help others. I continue to envision an environment where we honor and re-steward our planet and create a loving world for ourselves, our children, their children, and their children. Standing on this threshold, I see light.
